Underground utility locating services, Concrete scanning and GPS mapping
Safety first - Underground Utility Locating & Utility Mapping
Part of the process and due diligence prior to construction is identifying, mapping, and documenting underground utilities such as cables, pipelines, and other infrastructure before excavation or construction. This means locating and mapping underground telecommunications lines to avoid any damage during new developments or maintenance activities.

Importance of Underground Utility Locating & Mapping:
-
Safety: It ensures the safety of workers and the general public by preventing accidents that could occur from cutting into live electrical, gas, or water lines.
-
Preventing Service Disruptions: Accidental damage to underground utilities can lead to significant disruptions in essential services like internet, water, or electricity. Proper mapping helps avoid these costly interruptions.
-
Cost Efficiency: Identifying and mapping underground utilities before any work begins can prevent expensive repairs, project delays, and additional fines that may arise from damaging existing infrastructure.
-
Compliance: Regulatory requirements often mandate accurate utility mapping to protect public assets and ensure projects meet legal safety standards.
-
Efficient Project Planning: By knowing where utilities are located, construction and development projects can be planned more effectively, avoiding reroutes or costly redesigns during the work process.

The Wild Brumbies of Kosciuszko National Park: Balancing Heritage and Conservation
In the heart of Australia's stunning Kosciuszko National Park, amid the rugged beauty of the Snowy Mountains, roams a symbol of Australia's pioneering spirit: the wild brumby. These feral horses, descendants of the early settlers' stock, evoke images of freedom and resilience against the backdrop of the alpine wilderness. However, their presence also raises complex questions about conservation and cultural heritage.
A Heritage to Preserve
For many, the brumbies represent more than just a feral population. They are a living connection to Australia's past, a reminder of the courage and tenacity of those who ventured into the untamed wilderness. Their hoofbeats echo the stories of explorers and stockmen who forged paths through the rugged terrain, leaving an indelible mark on the landscape.
